Kirk Fridrich joined the Union Athletic Department as Assistant Athletic Director and head football coach in January of 2007, returning to Union after a five-year absence. Fridrich was an assistant varsity football coach for Union from 1993-2001, leaving to accept the head football coaching position at Stillwater Public Schools for 4 years and Owasso Public Schools for one year.
Coach Fridrich’s career head coaching record is 220-56 and in his 17 years as head coach at Union, Kirk has led the Union to a record of 182-37, with 10 state final appearances and 5 championships.
Coach Fridrich earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tulsa and Master of Science degree from Oklahoma State University.

Coach Fridrich and his wife, Tina, have been married for 25 years. They attend Asbury Church and have two sons, Josh (23) and John Thomas (18).
